LISA PELO

Lisa Pelo-McNiece is a local blown-glass artist living in Clayton, Indiana. Currently, she has been the Department Head of the Glass Studio at the Indianapolis Art Center, where she is also a glassblowing instructor. Lisa also works as the Gallery Manager at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library in Plainfield, Indiana. She is the recipient of the Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist Grant and the Arts Council of Indianapolis Creative Renewal Fellowship. She has also received awards from regional and national juried exhibitions and has work in several permanent collections. Lisa designed the 2003 ARTI awards for the Arts Council of Indianapolis. Her artwork may be seen at numerous museums and galleries locally and across the country, including the Indianapolis Art Center’s Frank M. Basile Gallery Shop. Education Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio BFA, specializing in Glass BFA, in Creative Writing Cum Laude graduate of 1988.
