After a career in advertising serving in roles from art director to copywriter, TV producer to partner, Charles Emery Ross now paints full time in one of his studios in Cincinnati, Ohio or Venice Beach, Florida. This award-winning artist’s work, consisting primarily of contemporary landscapes and abstracts, resides in private and corporate collections in this country, Europe, and Asia. A graduate of the Central Academy of Commercial Art, Ross is represented by galleries in Cincinnati, Ohio, Newport, Rhode Island, Naples, Florida, and Lexington, Kentucky.

Artist’s Statement
“In my work, I’m constantly experimenting and exploring. Each painting becomes an adventure, a kind of journey. My hope is to take the viewer somewhere as well. It may not be the same place the piece took me, but perhaps somewhere they’ve been or better still, somewhere they haven’t.”
