After graduating from Herron School of Art in 1981, I have enjoyed balancing family life with freelancing as a painter and illustrator.

I love the challenge of doing commissioned portraits and working on commercial illustration projects, in addition to my fine art. I have illustrated three children's books "Have You Ever Seen A Moose Taking A Bath?","Have You Ever Seen A Moose Brushing His Teeth?". and "Three Cups". I am currently working on "Why Is Mommy Sleeping?" a children's book for families struggling with breast cancer.

I have received numerous local, state, and national awards, most notably a Society Of Illustrator's merit award and a 2003 American Women Artists award.
