The soft breeze, a magnificent sky, the cool water……

All elements that drive her creativity along with a light touch of the paintbrush, feeling of peace and sense of place.  As a child of the Great Lakes Mary grew up with a landscape of water, woods, rocks and a sense that everything around us is so much larger and more mysterious then we will ever comprehend.   The large sky vistas of her current home state of Indiana bring the beautiful clouds and endless horizons to her work.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Mary spent many years in the graphic arts, working as a faux painter and showing and selling watercolors before currently concentrating on oils.   She travels to a number of shows during the course of the year and has been collected throughout the US.
